Early Career Researchers
As part of ECCE 2026, the European Association of Cognitive Ergonomics (EACE) has launched a new opportunity for Early Career Researchers (ECRs) to take on the role of an ‘ECCE ECR Representative’, designed to support and inspire the next generation of researchers and practitioners.
It is intended that the conference fee for participating ECRs will be fixed at half-price of the early-registration cost. You will also be able to present your own work if a paper submission is accepted.

Who Can Apply?
You would be eligible if you:
- Have completed your PhD (or equivalent) within the last five years.
- Are already, or are committed to becoming an EACE member.

How to Take Part
Getting involved is simple:
- Join EACE (if you are not already a member) at conference registration time.
- Indicate your ECR status and submit your formal doctoral accreditation.
- Submit your paper or presentation to ECCE 2026.
